68 year old man ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction of Knee

There used to be a common consensus that ACL reconstruction of knee should not be done in old age, this idea has now largely been debunked with statistical evidence. this 68 year old man with a traumatic anterior cruciate ligament tear had intact lateral and medial meniscus and quite normal cartilage in the weight bearing areas of knee, under such circumstances arthroscopic ACL repair should be done for a better outcome for the knee
